Why a minute is enough

A funtodrama episode is built to finish between two stops on a commute. The scene starts late, in the middle of a decision, and ends before the feeling has time to cool down.

That length changes the writing. There is no room for a second subplot inside the minute, so the turn has to land on one face. The next episode is allowed to pick up the glass that was just set down.

Portrait is part of the same idea. The frame is a face, a hand, a document. Wide rooms can wait. The phone is already the room.
