Holding the phone upright is the default, so the episode follows. Actors play closer. Titles sit where a thumb will not cover them. The next episode is a swipe, not a hunt through a remote.

On a larger screen the same episode sits inside a phone-shaped frame, with the episode list beside it. The story does not rotate just because the window got wider.

When the catalog becomes dynamic, the player stays the same shape. Only the video file behind the frame changes.
